What we've done for them
Determinations & Adjudications Publications
FOS required a solution that would enable them to publish and remove determination case information on the web and also enable visitors to search the contents of these files.
The project consisted of three large parts:
- FOS internal website. This administers users, their roles, provides a search facility, review and deletion of determinations along with other maintenance tasks;
- A search module in the FOS public CMS based website which performs full text search on thousands of determination pdf files as well as a parameter based search;
- A synchronisation module which performs complex tasks. An example is the conversion of determination .doc files to .pdf and delivering them with context data to the public web site hosting environment on a predefined schedule.
All project modules were built in .NET 3.5 which utilise Microsoft Word API and Microsoft Indexing Services functionality.
