Whilst attending International Customer Service Week there were a lot of discussions amongst the CEOs present about the impacts of Social Media.
There was heated debate as to how relevant social media is to businesses.
In short, my view of social media and online social networking is that it is another channel that all businesses simply must offer their customers as a means of communication. Ignore it at your peril. There are also massive opportunities for early adopters who implement social media strategies now.
