Management

Andrew Ellett

Andrew Ellett, Managing Partner

Whilst working for accounting firms in Melbourne, Australia, Andrew completed a Bachelor of Arts (Indonesian) and Bachelor of Commerce (eCommerce). Andrew founded his first company, EPS, in 1997 which grew to become a well regarded web development firm. Seeing the need to evolve as the internet industry has changed, Andrew merged EPS with McRae IT to create Revium.

Typical of most passionate business owners Andrew struggles to split his personal time from his work. However, in his down time you’ll find Andrew enjoying close client relationships, tennis, snow skiing, poker and running half marathons in under two hours.

John McRae

John McRae, Managing Partner

John started his career in education and taught maths for several years. More than 20 years ago, he moved to IT and established his own consultancy business in 1995. John has extensive international experience in Retail Banking Systems. He has analysed the requirements and developed specifications for the development and maintenance of many IT applications, such as Energy Suppliers, Regulatory Reporting, Business Networking Event Management, Conference Management and Freight Forwarders.

As a former Executive Member of Australian Software Metrics Association, John established a metrics program for estimation in IT development projects using function points. John is the driving force behind the application of methodologies, procedures and quality assurance at Revium.

John is a passionate bike rider and cares about the environment. He has a keen interest in folk music and plays a fiddle himself

Jamie Robinson

Jamie Robinson, Accounts

Jamie grew up in East Gippsland. After finishing school Jamie worked in the wool industry for several years. Returning to study, Jamie studied accounting and while doing so worked in public practice accounting and went on to head the accounting firm’s self managed superannuation fund division. Moving to Melbourne he has worked in the private sector.

Jamie’s non work interests include running and tennis. He is also involved in philanthropic work with the Centre for Road Trauma Recovery, a not for profit organization he founded after breaking his neck seven months prior to the Sydney 2000 Paralympic games, while on a training run with an Australian blind marathon runner.

Business Analysts & Project Managers

Liani Liebenberg

Liani Liebenberg, Project Coordinator

While completing a degree at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, Liani started her career in Law as a lecturer in Mercantile and Labour Law. Her keen interest in computing led to a career path change when she moved to London during 1997. There she completed a certification in Computing and Information Technology and worked in various IT capacities for a large fashion retailer.

Upon her relocation to Australia, Liani joined the Revium team where she is primarily involved with project coordination and risk assessment. She possesses a good eye for detail and paired with her meticulous approach to problem solving makes an invaluable contribution to the QA team. She is focused on maintaining a high level of professionalism while assisting clients responsively and with their interest at heart. In her spare time Liani likes travelling and taking photos, scuffling around in the garden and cooking gourmet meals with her partner.

Peter Sharp

Peter Sharp, Lead Business Analyst

Peter holds an honours degree in Law from Melbourne University. He has been responsible over the years for designing IT related workflow systems; in particular when applied to the office environment. Since 1996 Peter has been directly associated with the IT industry. He has designed and developed industry related applications for the banking and manufacturing sectors. He continues to be focused on designing web based solutions for business.

During his time as a commercial pilot licence holder he flew high performance multi engine aircraft around much of Australia. Of latter years metal machining has provided a recreational alternative to the rigours of the business world.

Marja Bouman

Marja Bouman, Senior Business Analyst

Marja graduated as a bachelor of science in Horticulture, majoring in economics and marketing. However, her keen interest for the emerging personal computer landed her in an IT related role. Over a period of more than 20 years, Marja has worked in a variety of IT roles and industries. She has a strong background in software development, analysis and project management. Marja is known for her detailed approach to functional analysis and problem solving and she will go that extra length to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Marja hasn’t lost her interest in plants. She loves to work in her garden in her overalls or go bush with her husband Jack to enjoy the beauty of Australian nature.

Designers

Bend Goad

Ben Goad, Creative Director

There are not many destinations in the creative world that Ben Goad hasn’t frequented. After studies in Melbourne and abroad – Ben has spent the last decade working in Senior Design Roles and Creative Direction across web, print, and television. His award winning fine art and commercial design has been publicly exhibited in solo shows across Australia, Asia and North America. Ben breathes creative life into the Revium team.

As Creative Director he holds a strong belief in being across the very latest technologies and industry processes but also having an acute understanding of traditional design methodology and systems.

When he does eventually leave the office, Ben is out cruising the Great Ocean Road in his 1978 tangerine Ford panel van, surfing waves with his partner Lise and their dog Oulala.

Alex Kondys

Alex Kondys, Senior Creative Designer

Alex joined the team at EPS after graduating with a Diploma of Multimedia (Technology) in late 2004. He has been a solid team member since first joining and has always strived to better himself with each project he has been involved in. Alex has honed his skills over the years as a designer and front end developer, always aiming to exceed client expectations and deliver outstanding work.

His weekends are usually spent relaxing with his girlfriend, catching up with family and ever so slowly improving his golf game.

Evgeny Petrov, Lead Developer

Evgeny is Revium's lead developer, possessing a Bachelor of Science degree after studying computing for 5 years in Russia. His passion for coding and willingness to learn has provided him with broad range of experiences in software development and more recently web development. He has worked for large companies all over the world and has been involved with many projects that he is proud of.

His passion for all things technology related does not end at work, despite this he manages to spare some time to be with his wife and kids, whom he adores. He is a keen member of Revium's running squad and enjoys participating in weekly 10k runs.

Adrian Palmer

Adrian Palmer, Senior Developer

Adrian is our senior PHP developer from England, bringing with him over 10 years experience in all aspects of web design and development. Adrian studied a Bachelor of Science (Computing) at Sheffield Hallam University from 2002-2006. Upon completing his degree, Adrian relocated to Australia in December 2006, as a chance to broaden his horizons and step out of his comfort zone. Coming from an entertainment and magazine background, he brings a broad and varied skill set to Revium. Adrian specialises in PHP and javascript development, whilst remaining passionate about web design, usability and accessibility.

When not chained to his desk, Adrian can be found around Melbourne propping up the bar wherever there is live music or rolling past you on his skateboard, probably on the way home to feed his cat.

Mark Wiseman

Mark Wiseman, Senior Developer

Mark has a degree in Computing with a Major in Object Orientated Programming. After working in the web industry for 10 years Mark is passionate about 3 things. One; Process efficiency Two; Creating simple solutions for complex problems and Three; making them aesthetically pleasing, which is a lot harder than it sounds. Mark’s experience involves working on complex web applications managing critical financial and personal information for some of Australia’s largest banks, universities and Government agencies.

Most of Marks’ free time is spent chilling with his cat or playing, coaching or dreaming about field hockey… it’s a sickness.

Mark Whitehead, Developer

Mark has a diploma in information technology with a background in high-level languages such as c++ and php. With a long-time interest in web development, he helps Revium develop backend solutions for our client’s website and online presence requirements. Working with our clients to give them the control they need through powerful online tools and implementing aesthetic designs, He endeavours to mimic the professionalism and branding of our clients businesses.

Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and baby boy or you’ll find him designing and building unique parts for his sports car. He also maintains an interest in online game development.
